Alexandra Daoust is a photographer from Brussels who is strongly guided in her work by her instinct.

During her travels, she observes the environment and all it takes is a detail, a light, a reflection, a particular atmosphere, a shadow, something unexpected or precisely insignificant which immediately brings to light in her mind the photographic image.

She often uses the double exposure technique.

In the example above, she combines a photo of flowers and one of her abstract paintings into a single photograph.

She also likes to use architecture and pre-existing vegetation to create her works.
