The full moon is known to capture the imagination of mankind. To some individuals, its rays can appear ghastly and frightening, casting shadows that tend to scare the faint-hearted. Simultaneously, the glow of the full moon can be soothing and comforting to others, illuminating the otherwise dark and mysterious nightscapes. This duality is at the source of humankind’s fascination for the celestial body, who has worshipped and deified it for centuries. The artwork is an abstract interpretation of the influence of the full moon on a nightscape, interpreting the glowing orb as an integral part of it.
