The symbol of Yin and Yang represented here by the red and black, has its origin in Taoism, a Chinese philosophy. It represents the two forces at once opposite and complementary. The Yin (here the red) and the Yang (here the black) are two forces at the same time opposite, interconnected and complementary: if the yin is rather passive and calm, the yang is active and nervous. It is the balance of these two forces that ensures the good circulation of energies in the body and, in turn, harmony and health. In some places the colors mix, intertwine and meet because no one is ever entirely yin or entirely yang. Respecting the balance between yin and yang in each person and also in the couple generates harmony.
