BE DEAR

Sigrid Bedeer from Hove is an interior architect, traveller, cat lover, proud mother of a teenage son and abstract painter under the name “BE DEAR”. The name “BE DEAR” is derived from her birth name Bedeer and stands for "be kind and first of all to yourself".

Sigrid Bedeer : “To me, painting abstract means emptying your head and going with your feelings. Away from the world for a while, feel what is present within you at that moment, let go of the result and put your emotions on canvas with full surrender.”

The bright and warm colors in her paintings reflect her fiery, sometimes restless and passionate qualities. The lighter shades are more a representation of her soft power and sensitivity.
