Artist of the month : Celle Van Haverbeke (october 2021)

Celle Van Haverbeke is an Antwerp artist who has developed his own style through his past as a graphic designer.

He paints, as it were, like a screen printer and applies color by color, where purifying or returning to the essence is crucial for the design.

His works are snapshots. A lot of detail is concealed and this makes the 'graphic' pur sang central, with a lot of attention to 'color' in flat tones. The images have an impressionistic twist, in a pop art look achieved by his own silkscreen-inspired technique.
