The world as it is when you are not looking
In my works, I use attractive ethnic aesthetics to convey apparently modern ideas. Humans have not changed that much and today we have the same emotions, instincts, and needs as our ancestors of hundreds of years ago. People now tend to believe that we have a better understanding or control over ourselves, our health, our minds, and our destiny. With my works I want to show modern ideas through ethnic lenses, ask a question whether the above is undeniable.
The title of my art collection “ The world as it is when you are not looking ” refers to areas of science that we still don't understand.Physical phenomena that are still a mystery to us, such as emergence, quantum physics, and dark matter, make me pause and consider that everything we know is limited by our senses. Most of my works are inspired by imagining what the unlimited world might look like.
